Inflection Resources and Fleet Space Launch Groundbreaking Copper Exploration in Australia

Inflection Resources, in partnership with Fleet Space, announced on Wednesday their collaboration to deploy space technology and AI in locating copper-gold deposits in Australia's Macquarie Arc. Utilizing Fleet Space’s ExoSphere solution, this venture marks the initiation of the world's largest ambient noise tomography (ANT) survey for copper across 1,800 km² in New South Wales under an agreement with AngloGold.

The survey aims to create detailed 3D models of the subsurface to identify mineral-rich structures and zones beneath layers of sedimentary cover. The recent findings at the Duck Creek project have already revealed multiple high-priority drill sites, showcasing the efficiency of the ExoSphere technology in speeding up the discovery process.

CEO Alistair Waddell of Inflection emphasized the precision and speed brought by ExoSphere's insights, which have rapidly identified promising new drilling locations. Inflection plans to expand the use of this technology across its projects to optimize exploration efforts within the copper-gold rich region of the Macquarie Arc.

Flavia Tata Nardini, CEO of Fleet Space, stressed the critical role of advanced copper discoveries in supporting the global transition to renewable energy and AI technologies. She expressed pride in conducting this significant exploration initiative, which leverages cutting-edge technology to advance Inflection's exploration strategies.

Inflection Resources continues to spearhead innovations in the mining sector, with a strong focus on copper and gold exploration powered by technical and technological advancements.
